Scalable Ordering and Inventory Platform with Smart Queue
WiseMatcha is a new matcha company based in Indonesia. They partnered with us to build a new ordering system which migrates the company's previous methods of taking orders from Instagram. The old system was slow, since the person checking the messages had to read through the chats one by one, and might have to deal with a person double messaging.
Our challenge was to transform a manual, Instagram-based ordering process into a scalable digital platform. Existing social media ordering systems are chaotic, prone to errors, and don't scale with business growth. We set out to solve that with a modern approach.
In just eight weeks, we designed and built a fast, reliable, and user-friendly platform that features a smart queue system, streamlined checkout, and real-time order management, delivering measurable improvements in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Inspired by high-demand ticket platforms, our queue system handles traffic spikes while maintaining fairness and transparency.
Through analysis of WiseMatcha's sales patterns, we discovered their premium matcha typically sells out within the first minute of availability, creating intense demand spikes that Instagram messaging simply couldn't handle. Our solution implements a virtual queue with real-time position updates, estimated wait times, and session management that ensures fair access during these high-demand moments while preventing system crashes and duplicate orders.
We implemented a Next.js full-stack application with Redis queue management to provide instant order processing and inventory tracking.
